Biography:

Daniel Palkowski has taught composition, theory, electronic music, & audio technology at Columbia University, the Manhattan School of Music, New York University, & the Hoff Barthelson Music School. He received a Bachelors in Music Composition at Manhattan School of Music under Elias Tanenbaum, later a Masters and Doctor of Musical Art in Composition at Columbia under Jack Beeson, Chou Wen Chung and Mario Davidovsky. He has written music for films, orchestras, operas, plays & multimedia works. Commissions include the Westchester Philharmonic, Music from China, the Sydney Alpha Ensemble, CD-ROM's by HarperCollins, MacMillan Digital & the Voyager Company, Disney Online. Currently Mr. Palkowski is a Sr. Engineer at Ernst & Young, where he serves as composer, video producer, webcaster, & audio engineer.
